Reviews

“In this powerful novella, Joseph Edwin Haeger tells the tale of a grieving father, the man convicted of his son’s murder, and the ghost that hangs over them both. But they aren’t haunted by the deceased—it’s regret that sits in the pit of their guts, making their every step so heavy they’ll take the most drastic measures just to feel that fleeting sense of comfort that comes with just being able to stand on our own two feet. Bardo is a reminder it’s the hunger for redemption, not the thirst for vengeance, that’s a never-ending cycle.”

—Jeff Chon, author of Hashtag Good Guy with a Gun and This Is the Afterlife
